Psalm 103:8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

Oh Lord thank you for the promise of this verse! It gives confidence to saint and sinner alike. If we would but turn from confidence in ourselves and fall on your mercy and grace. You anger is slow towards us because you know our weakness. By the power of your steadfast love we can be changed.
